GENEPICA, in collaboration with the Health Sciences Cluster of Doctrine UK, hosted a public sharing session exploring the role of genomic research in advancing health and clinical science. The program featured genomics projects by researchers from Genepica, Imperial College London, University College London, University of Glasgow, and moderated by a University of Cambridge researcher. The topics being discussed include genomic research, including omics applications in basic and translational research, the potential and limitations of polygenic risk scores in clinical research, and pharmacogenomics in cardiovascular therapy. Delivered in a hybrid format, the event provided a platform for knowledge exchange and highlighted the growing potential of genomics to improve disease understanding, support personalised approaches to healthcare, and translate scientific discoveries into clinical practice. It was attended by ~35 participants (20 offline, 15 online). This event was supported by Entrepreneur First.
