Building on its participation in the 2024 conference, GENEPICA returned to the Public Policy Projects Genomics Conference in 2025 as an Event Partner, reflecting its growing engagement within the UK genomics ecosystem. Held in London, the conference convened leaders from healthcare, research, policy, and industry to explore how genomics can contribute to economic growth, healthcare equity, and the future of the NHS. Discussions addressed emerging priorities including the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in genomics, research and data environments, rare disease research, and the role of personalised medicine and prevention within the NHS 10-Year Plan. GENEPICA’s involvement provided further opportunities to exchange perspectives, strengthen connections across the UK and Indonesia genomics community, and bring insights from these discussions into its wider work in genomics and precision health.
