The inaugural UK–Indonesia Health Genomics Forum, initiated by GENEPICA and held in Jakarta in December 2023, brought together the Indonesian Minister of Health, leading scientists, policymakers, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders from the UK and Indonesia, reaching approximately 600 registered participants both in person and online. Supported by major institutions including the Indonesian Ministry of Health and the British Embassy in Jakarta, the two-day Forum combined public sessions with focused stakeholder roundtables to exchange knowledge, strengthen international connections, and explore opportunities for advancing genomics and precision healthcare in Indonesia. The inaugural event established a foundation for continued UK-Indonesia collaboration in genomics.
